COME ALL / ISAIAH 55: 1-3; 6

Come all who are weary and heartbroken
Come all who are tired and weighed down
Come and lay aside the many burdens
Bow before your Saviour right now

Come if you are facing tribulation
Come if you are wrestling with doubt
Come and see the Father’s good provision
Fix your gaze upon His Son right now.

Seek Him who is near , draw closer here
Take the Water and the Bread, drink the New Wine be glad !

Come into the place of restoration
Come be still and know that He is God
Come and hear the Spirit break the silence
Let Him speak into your heart right now

Seek Him who is near , draw closer here
Take the Water and the Bread, drink the New Wine be glad !

Are you the hungry?  The poor and thirsty ? Believe in  what the Lord is saying
Calling the hungry, the  poor and thirsty to believe in what the Lord is saying

ISAIAH 55:1-3; 6

55 “Come, everyone who thirsts,
    come to the waters;
and he who has no money,
    come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without price.
Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
    and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,
    and delight yourselves in rich food.
Incline your ear, and come to me;
    hear, that your soul may live;
and I will make with you an everlasting covenant,
    my steadfast, sure love for David.

“Seek the Lord while he may be found;
    call upon him while he is near;

WHY ?  / 2 TIM 1:9; TITUS 1:2

Why did You come O Lord  to be humbly led away?
Like a sheep to the slaughter You chose nought to say - not a word
What manner of love is this? That gives all it can give and more
Disowned and afflicted  by those You freely ransomed
To rescue a fallen world so lost since life began
A tender shoot broken, then crucified.
Hands that stretched and formed  our very foundations
Stretched again, willingly in pain

‘Cos You answered with mercy  on a Cross at Calvary
It’s pointing to Your mighty love, such a mighty love for me
You answered with sacrifice
The Son of God who came to die
It’s telling of a mighty love, such a mighty love for me

And so You would come O Lord,  a lonely man of sorrows
One well acquainted with heartache and despair
No beauty or majesty, no throne or a crown
Yet the Prince of Heaven took all my shame
And was shattered through by the force of a righteous anger

1 TIMOTHY 1:9

 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time

TITUS 1:2

in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time

SCENT OF OCCASION / JOHN 12:1-11

Such a costly, costly sacrifice
A broken jar, quickly criticized
By a thief and those wickedly wise
Knowing nothing of the value 'cos they only see the price
Pure poured devotion, perfumed commotion
Sensing the occasion, with a scent of occasion

Mary, Mary, Mary Bethany
You did what you did and walked in as you pleased
You had their fingers wagging not that you cared
As you gently let down all your dark brown hair - I wish I was there

Such a lovely, lovely spill of treasure
The gift you gave will always be remembered
That camera moment with the crowd and the Teacher
How could you know what’s to come so soon after ?
Pure poured devotion, here is a man on a mission
He’s at the center of occasion, the scent of occasion

Mary, Mary, Mary Bethany
You did what you did and walked in as you pleased
You had their fingers wagging not that you cared
As you gently let down all your  dark brown hair - I wish I was there

THE WASHING / JOHN 13:1-17

An  evening supper
With Paschal lamb
Twelve brothers gathered for the breaking of bread

A drying towel
A basin filled
Hands wiping soles of each friend You well knew

And then You washed the feet of Judas too
And You washed the feet of Judas too
It was the cold, cold feet who would soon walk away

Yet You washed the feet of Judas too
You chose to wash the feet of Judas too
It was the cold, cold feet that would soon walk away
Yet You washed the feet of Judas too
